Another Sunday and it was another away fixture for the mighty Manor, this time it was a journey to Tansley Jnrs, whom Manor overcame with ease last season twice. Would today have the same outcome! Unfortunately manor travelled with a bare 11 after injuries to the new shot stopping king Tom and the absence of solid centre back Jack ruled them out of contention. There were doubts over Luke, who was also carrying a knock, but bared the pain to start and eventually score the match winner.

Manor started off at full steam pinning Tansley into their own half for lengthy intervals but without real effect, a very narrow pitch caused congestion and frustration for manor, but 10 minutes in and the rapid pace of new striker Boxy was too much for the Tansley back four, his shot was generously palmed into the path off an oncoming Luko who buried with ease...Manors back four looked very comfortable at handling Tansley's attack during the first half, with impressive debuts from both Callum and Richo!

Second half started much the same with a growing sense of frustration among the players at not being able to double the score, and fear crept in as Tansley countered Manor many a time thanks to a big boot from the keeper, and if not for some last ditch challenges most notable from man of the match coxy then the score may have been a lot different. Manor saw out the game with two efforts hitting the woodwork..3 points to manor!
