Website Updates - 01/10/07

Would all Managers please note that Tracy no longer deals with website updates. The website is now updated by Shaun Keable. Updates include match reports, scores, fixtures, team photos and sponsor logos. Sheffield League teams need to send their full fixture list to shaun.keable@accenture.com if they wish these to be published on the website, as the Sheffield League website does not contain this information. Rowsley league teams fixtures will be published once available on the Yellow Jersey website. Scores and match reports need to be sent to the same email address, via the Submit Match Report button at the top of the page, by no later than the Tuesday following the game. As you will appreciate, there are a lot of updates to manage, now this facility is up and running and it is far more simple to do this in one block rather than several return visits.

Please make all players, parent, sponsors, family and friends and opposition managers aware of this site. September saw over 1,000 unique visitors to the site, totalling nearly 25,000 hits. It is obviously a popular new facility for the whole clubs benefit. Please help make the administration of the site as simple as possible by sending information to the correct place in a timely manner.

Goalkeeper Coaching - 26/09/07

This weeks Goalkeeper coaching for under 11's to seniors will be held on Thursday 27th September, rather than Friday 28th September.

Next week's coaching for all up to under 10's will be held on Thursday October 4th rather than Friday October 5th.

Times for both coaching sessions will be 17:45 - 18:45. The Venue will be Holmebrook Valley Park.

These will be the last two goalkeeper coaching sessions on grass before Jon moves onto the astro turf at St. Mary's School.

Rowsley League Meeting 28/08/07
 

Sean Hoole has all the Team sheet book's at his address. Please contact Sean to make arrangements to collect these. We have only been given use 2 handbooks, but Lee has taken one to photocopy so everyone can have one. A copy of the hand book will be on the Yellow Jersey Website.

If you are at home on the 9/9/07 you need to phone the ref by Monday night at the latest ( I have a copy of the ref's numbers for you), if the ref can't make it you need to let Simonette know by Monday night to give her time to try and find you a ref by Thursday.

There is a new result line number, which is 01246 261414. The home team needs to phone their result in on Sundays between 12:00 - 18:00.

U15 - 18 £19
U11 - 15 £17
Mini socccer £15

Goalkeeper Coaching starts 31/08/2007

Jonathan Anderson will be taking goalkeeper coaching sessions at Holme Brook Valley Park from 31/08/2007. All coaches are encouraged to take advantage of this coaching facility for their individual team's goalkeepers. The sessions will be run from 6 pm to approx 7pm each Friday from that date at a cost of £2 per keeper. Depending on numbers it is hoped to split the age groups as follows

31/08/07 - Under 7's to Under 11's
07/09/07 - Under 12's to Seniors
14/09/07 - Under 7's to Under 11's
21/09/07 - Under 12's to Seniors

CRB Forms

Would all coaches who have taken CRB forms from myself please note that I am able to check the identification documents and verify their authenticity rather than having to send these forms of ID off to the FA. As the club's Child Welfare Officer, and having already had a CRB enhanced check performed I will be able to verify anyone's documents before the forms are sent. Could anyone that has taken an application from me please try to have these completed, together with the correct ID and a cheque for £12 and bring them along to the Next Club Meeting on September 9th. I will then be able to send all forms off together once they have been checked and listed. Additionally, I have had several queries about the Club address to be quoted in Section B of the form. Please note that my address should be used for this. My address is as follows
